How the two reads combine

When your face and voice disagree

Your face and your voice can read differently at the same moment. You can look composed while your voice reads tight, or sound assured while your gaze reads unsettled. Interviewers register that gap without always being able to name it — it is usually what people mean when they say something felt "off".

Veracue reads each channel separately and reports how often the two agreed across your answer. These are impressions of how you come across to a viewer, not measurements of what you felt — so the feedback names the gap and what it is likely to cost you, rather than telling you what was going on in your head.

Common questions

Do I need a good webcam?
Any standard laptop webcam works fine. The AI is designed to work with typical video call quality — you don't need professional equipment.
How long should a practice session be?
A session is five generated questions with three selected for you, and a good answer runs 60 to 120 seconds — so most sessions take about 3 to 10 minutes. Drop the questions you don't want before you start, or keep all five for a longer run.
Can I practise for a specific company?
Yes — paste the job listing and we'll generate questions tailored to that specific role, company, and seniority level. The questions adapt to the requirements mentioned in the listing.
Is my video stored anywhere?
Your privacy matters to us. Your answers are analysed on our servers, and your recording is deleted within seconds of the analysis completing — never stored. If an analysis fails, the recording is held for up to 24 hours so we can diagnose the failure, then automatically deleted. We keep only your transcripts, scores and feedback, so you can track progress. See our Privacy Policy for details.
