Where each one is strongest

Yoodli runs a live roleplay: it asks follow-up questions based on what you just said, with a choice of interviewer demeanour. If what you want is a conversation that pushes back, that is the one to look at. It is also priced for teams and organisations, with interview preparation as one use among several.

Big Interview has the university network. It says 700+ institutions use it, with assignments, a curriculum of video lessons and integrations for career centres, so if your university or college provides it, you may already have access.

Huru is free for job seekers, with a very large question bank and a Chrome extension that builds questions from a job posting. It scores the content of each answer; it does not say it analyses your face or voice.

Veracue does the basics in one place: questions for your role, a script in your own words, a score against a clear rubric, coaching you can act on, and a second go with an improved script. The edge is that it also tells you what your face and voice did at which words, as moments you can watch back, never as a number, an emotion or a verdict on you. It does not run a live roleplay with follow-ups.

How we checked

Every competitor fact on this page was read from that company's own website on 13 October 2026: Yoodli's pricing and interview-preparation pages and its support article on interview practice; Big Interview's home, pricing and higher-education pages; Huru's home page. Quoted phrases are theirs. "Not stated" means we could not find it on those pages; it may still exist. Nothing here is a rating, a review count or a claim about how well any of them works, ours included. If something is out of date, tell us at support@veracue.com and we will correct it.
